This low-impact, whole-body workout that originated in Finland can be performed at different intensity levels. It incorporates the use of specially designed poles that you work in opposition to your legs — that is, your left arm and right foot work in tandem, and your right arm and left foot.
Coach dives into pool to rescue American swimmer at World Championships
American swimmer Anita Alvarez was rescued from the bottom of the pool by her coach at the FINA World Aquatic Championships in Budapest, Hungary, after she lost consciousness, according to Reuters. Coach Andrea Fuentes jumped into the pool after she saw the 25-year-old artistic swimmer sink to the bottom at the end of her routine in the women’s solo free event on Wednesday.Fuentes, a four-time Olympic medalist in synchronized swimming, lifted Alvarez to the surface before helping bring her to the edge of the pool.

Eagle will be celebrating an event that has been going on for over 100 years. This Friday and Saturday, Eagle Flight Days returns and it’s not an air show and it has nothing to do with flights. In 1921, the County Seat was ‘stolen’ from Red Cliff and moved to Eagle. The town has been celebrating the history and relocation ever since.

American swimmer Anita Alvarez was rescued by her coach Wednesday at the world championships in Budapest when she lost consciousness during her competition and began to sink to the bottom of the pool.
Andrea Fuentes, Alvarez’ coach and a four-time Olympic medalist in synchronized swimming, jumped in to help Alvarez after she saw her begin to sink in the pool. Alvarez had just completed her solo free final swim at the World Aquatics Championships.

Lakers: HBO Responds to Jerry West’s Requests for Apology and Retraction
Last week, Lakers legend Jerry West sent a letter to HBO demanding an apology and a retraction over how he’s depicted the network’s dramatization of the Lakers Showtime era, “Winning Time”. The letter was sent through West’s legal team and described the depiction of West in the show as “a deliberately false characterization that has caused great distress to Jerry and his family”.A few high profile Lakers, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson, have also condemned how the Lakers great is presented in the show.
